Becky Gordon is the owner of Inspired Design, which she officially started in March 2007, and grew it into what it is today. Always fascinated with design, she pursued her dream of designing kitchens, baths and interior spaces after getting certified in AutoCAD and 3 dimensional modeling. Despite the 2008 downturn in the economy, Becky continued to grow the business by taking an individualized approach to meet each clients needs and budget.

Most of our clients are about to embark on the biggest and most important renovation of which they have ever done. It's often a once in a lifetime experience, and they want to do it right. At Inspired Design, our mission is to make THAT experience very positive, enjoyable and as smooth as possible with attention to detail with attention to detail, superior customer service and passion for each job.

At the first appointment, we meet our clients at their homes. This initial visit is complementary and very important so that we can get to know each other, and get to know their storage needs, personal style and space. Once the measurements are taken, we get to work to lay out the best floor plan options that the space allows. We present these options to our clients and then finalize the best floor plan to suit their lifestyle. Final plans and elevations are completed. Now it's time for the fun stuff: styles, colors, cabinetry, countertops, tiles...etc...We have wonderful vendor relationships to help you source your products at the best pricing. We offer multiple cabinetry lines from semi-custom to full custom. We work with the contractors to plan the cabinetry and countertop deliveries and installations. We take our clients on field trips to pick their finishes. We are there every step of the project.

We are independent designers. We are not beholden to a showroom with store hours, overhead nor do we have an All or Nothing approach. This makes us more accessible to help our clients with product choices and to be at the job site when needed. The result is a true team approach between designer and client to navigate a projects' path from start to completion. We work with reputable contractors that allow us to find the right team to meet the client's needs and timeline. We also can work directly with a client's team if they already have contractors that they know and trust. We charge a fee for our design time and then the plans are completed, they can be used by the cabinetmaker, the installer, the contractors, plumbers and electrician, as well as for pulling permits. The final meeting to enjoy the completed project often ends with hugs all around. We love what we do and we get to make a dream a reality for each and every client.
